| Did you know that every single minute $64,000 is spent on average on vending machines in the United States alone? That's a lot of candy, snacks and soda, and an incredible amount of food being bought through vending machines. You have to admit though walking past the machines when you're in a rush and needing a bite to eat, they are tempting aren't they. Well after thinking about that perhaps that figure above is not so surprising but it's still a lot of vending machine sales. Consumers such as school kids will often choose to buy from a vending machines to save themselves time waiting in lines to purchase foods from say their canteen. School kids get sucked in because they are often in a rush and the lines to the canteen look too painful to wait in. Food for thought. |
